I am currently training my first Lab to be my new waterfowl companion. She is about ready to begin the introduction to her new hunting blind. Since this is my first rodeo, I wanted to see what recommendations or experiences you have befor I purchase a blind. We hunt mostly wide creek beds and some standing water for ducks and fields for geese.

I have been looking at the MoMarsh Field House and Invisilab blinds and I like the fact that they have they legs that keep the pup elevated above the ground.

The only thing about the momarsh is that if you hunt a field for geese the legs don't come off the blind and they fold up under the blind so your dog is laying on it the whole time your out ! very uncomfortable !

I also use a momarsh invisilab for both field and in the creeks and ponds where we hunt. My boy doesn't seem to mind the legs folded under it while hunting or training. I like them because it keeps the dog out of the mud and off cold ground and I also have a one inch thick foam pad I got from work left over from wrapping pipes for insulation that works good for when we have snow.
