Where did the Steelers go? They have a really big game coming up tomorrow and I havent heard anything about it on the news. All I've heard is about the winter classic.
Dont get me wrong, Im a Pens fan too, but the classic is a game without alot of meaning for their season. On the other hand the Steelers lose and they could not win the division.
Im sure the media realizes no money will be made for the city this week on the Steeler game.

Re: Does Pittsburgh nave a football team?

Ed Rendell has declared them a bunch of "Wossies" and the NFL has not responded.

Re: Does Pittsburgh nave a football team?

This may be the first time I've ever heard anyone complain that there wasn't enough media coverage of the Steelers, and too much Pens coverage, in Pittsburgh during football season. The Winter Classic is a much bigger event for the city, and a one of a kind thing. Kind of like if the Steelers were playing the Ravens, but the Pirates were playing a meaningful game in October. Doesn't happen too often, so the media covers that instead. Don't worry--if the Steelers would happen to lose (unlikely), you'll have a ton of coverage then.
When you get to the end of the season, all of those "meaningless" games early and mid season become very meaningful, when you are 3 points up or down to the next playoff spot. It's actually a great weekend for Pittsburgh sports--the Pens have a big game, the Steelers have a big game, and the Pirates are far away from Pittsburgh.

Good point. I know the best thing for the city today is the WC. But in 2 weeks the best thing will be the Steelers with home feild advantage.
