At my first home we had an enormous yellow buckeye tree. The kind without the spines on the husks. When the fruit fell there was deer poop all around the tree. Although I never saw them eat the buckeyes, it seemed like they did. I have read on some other sites that deer do no eat buckeyes as they are poisonous. Anyone have any experience with deer eating buckeyes?
