I left the Hose Company at 1:30, final weigh in was 2:00. Had 40 when I left.
A cousin of mine said his buddy shot a 65lb'der last week in Bradford County. I said I'd like to see a pic of that one. I hear all the time guys are shooting 60-70+lb coyote.
I killed my first one in 1991 in front of my dad's hounds. Been hunting them ever since. Biggest was 48lbs.
Look at the Mosquito Creek Hunt results. Statewide contest, how many have ever been shot over 50lbs?
Guys better check their scales.

I wound up placing 2nd place at 47.10 pounds. If I hadn't had a scheduling conflict I would have brought my coyote in Saturday instead of Sunday. The guys doing the weighing figured that I lost a pound of weight in water/blood form letting it sit 2 nights. They were convinced I would have won if I hadn't waited (not sure about that though) Still a fun hunt regardless of how I placed!
