yep....sounds like going to be classified as a hate crime. Trans against Christian school.

*..and to add...the lamestream media is NOT describing killer.....by name or other descriptions....just the weapons used.

When are we, as a nation, going to address the mental illness problems in our country? Mental illness violence kills people everyday, yet crickets from those in government. Instead of digging into the root of the problem, they'll be shouting "we have to ban 'assault weapons'!!"

The trouble with banning "assault weapons" is that it will not stop with firearms. The extreme left lunatic fringe will move on from guns to edged weapons, to blunt instruments, to sports equipment, to just about everything else in our everyday lives that could be used to kill by these 'poor troubled souls who deserve every bit of respect that we could possibly muster for them because it's not their fault when these sort of things happen' according to snowflakes who don't seem to think that anybody in this country should have to bear personal responsibility for their own actions. Nope, the far left says it's the weapon that's at fault, not the person that's using it.

And they still won't do jack about the mental-illness violence.
Of course when 51% of the electorate suffers from mental illness, what else would we expect....

Meanwhile in the interviews the idiotic Mayor of Nashville was absolutely gushing over the "short" sixteen minute response time by the cops.:vomit:
Know why these things never seem to happen in places like City Hall, or some Governor's office? C'mon you know the answer, Where There Be Politicians There Be Cops.
Of course it works out to be that way because even though there isn't enough money to put cops in every school to protect our children, politicians somehow always seem to find enough surplus money to protect themselves.
We don't know how long it might have taken somebody who was armed and trained to respond if they were already in that school, but it's a pretty good bet that it wouldn't have taken sixteen minutes when every second counted.

Speaking of mental illness.

"My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband," Biden said from the White House's East Room in his first public appearance since a 28-year-old woman shot and killed three students and three teachers at a Christian private school in Nashville. "I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream," he continued. "By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs," he added. "You think I’m kidding? I’m not," Biden told the crowd.

in order for his head to rattle he would have to have some marbles. Biden lost all his marbles decades ago.

this shooter is a tranny. most likely made the transition while to young to understand the permanence of it. that bad move and years of hormone therapy most likely made the mental illness worse and caused this.

it shouldnt matter if the person was trans or not. the fact that more kids dies along with adults is whats important. though i agree that the assault rifles should be banned, thats not the point. its the problem of getting these people to stop shooting up schools. i see a lot of people on here talking about their rights to own guns, but where is the responsibility to owning these guns. kids have the right to go to school without having to worry if they are going to be next. what possible use do you have for an AR style gun? if you want a semi auto rifle just buy one that most gun companies make. i guess its the fact that these rifles wont take a magazine that holds 30 rounds. most of these rifles hold mostly 5 rounds. what do you hunt that requires 30 rounds? would it change your minds if it was one of your kids or grandkids. im lucky mine are grown and so are my grandkids. it still bothers me everytime i hear of another school shooting. are the people going to wait until the ball drops and it is one of your own to do something. yes i own guns, but they are all hunting guns. no semi's in this house.

Harden schools & other "soft targets." Predators always target soft targets, because they're soft.

"Police said Hale was equipped with at least two assault weapons and a handgun, and in searching her family home in Nashville, officers found detailed maps and a manifesto of the attack.

“We have a manifesto, we have some writings that we’re going over that pertain to this day,” Nashville Metropolitan Police Chief John Drake said about the discovery.

He added that Hale was “prepared to do more harm than was actually done,” and that she had drawn up plans to attack another school in the area, but backed out of them because the school was too secure."

Yes Slim, blame the gun not the perpetrators of these horrific acts. Since most of these mass shootings are conducted by people who identify as Demonrats and at least 4 of the recent school shootings were committed by gender confused individuals maybe we should ban all those suffering for these mental illnesses.

1) There's no such thing as transgender. It can't be proven through DNA testing that anything trans has ever occurred.
2) AR stands for Armalite Rifle, not assault rifle.
3) No military in the world uses the AR-15.
4) What possible use...? Hunting, that one possible use, as evidenced by the fact that hunters all over the country use various form and calibers of ARs to legally harvest game.
5) There is no official definition of what an "assault rifle" is.
6) There are no restrictions on magazine capacity mentioned in the 2nd Amendment.
7) "Assault rifles" are not forbidden by the 2nd Amendment.
8) 30 rounds of .223 scare you does it? My house gun is a 3" magnum sxs double. The rounds I put in it are 12 gauge, 3" Magnum, #1 Buckshot. Each round contains 24 pellets that measure .30 in diameter.

What you have to say about guns might fool the fools on liberal web pages but HuntingPa is frequented by people that know guns, own guns, and use guns. The odds of convincing anybody around here with some liberal drivel about "assault guns" isn't going to impress anybody around here.

If being trans isn’t the most obvious type of mental illness to recognize I don’t know what is. Yet our government, school boards, corporations, ect. look at trans people as normal and celebrates them. I don’t expect anything to change, it will probably just get worse.

Good luck, Tony

I'll give you credit for one thing, Slim. You typed all those words, and didn't mention Trump once.

As to the rest, you've done your typical lots of writing just to say scary black guns are bad.

"it shouldnt matter if the person was trans or not."
It shouldn't, but it does. It matters for two reasons, the political reason and the societal reason.

The political reason is easy, even a democrat should be able to understand. Her being trans means that the shooting doesn't fit the narrative, and so will be dropped by the msm faster than Biden forgets where he is. Speaking of that idiot, don't his jokes and laughter when making comments about murdered children make you so proud?

The societal reason is somewhat more complicated, so pay attention and read slowly so you can keep up.
This person is not a "trans" she is a girl. Woman actually, she was 28 years old when she got herself killed. She is a product of what we as a society have allowed to happen. The blood of those children and their teachers is not only on her hands, but also on the hands of every psychiatrist, teacher, counselor, parent, and politician who enabled her through encouraging her to develop her mental illness rather than treating her mental illness. Every "woke" social justice warrior who pounces on anyone who dare to state their own viewpoints on the transgender illness. Yes, slim, I said illness because that's what it is. If this woman would have been treated for her illness, quite possible she wouldn't have went to a Christian school to kill people, the school that she had previously attended. It's not a far stretch to figure out why she chose to shoot up that school. The narrative perpetuated by the media, leftists politicians, and those that believe what they say, is that Christians "hate" trans people. Your side is too stupid and obtuse to see that Christians generally love all individual people, even though they oppose that kind of behavior.
But what does your president do? Instead of addressing the root cause of the problem, he goes right into the predictable "ban "assault" weapons speech. But not until after he cracked jokes and laughed with his press, while 6 families are grieving their losses. Losses cause by a disease he enables.
