Will be going dumpster diving for Deer scraps at the local processor. Will be using them for Bobcat. Any suggestions on what to get?

deer scraps make very good dirthole bait as its as natural as you can get in the woods this time of year. i keep all my scraps from butchering and use them. they work for almost anything, especially fisher as most of my fisher catches come off of deer scraps.

Deer legs, head, meat, etc. etc.?
If you are going to be running around with this stuff in a vehicle you'd be wise to avoid being checked. If you are inspected with a bunch of deer parts you'll have to do a heap of splaining if you can't identify the shooter for each part. Even for parts of a roadkill you "should" have a permit.

i think the regs say something like, tags must remain with the carcass until processed and then remain with the head and guts. idk what the rule is if you pull it out of the dumpster though. i agree with tundra on that one just be careful
