My kids always keep a few trout and I smoke them. Last night I was moving the smoker out of the garage and saw my turkey fryer. Got me to thinking, hmmmm deep fried trout. Anyone ever try it? Just drop the whole trout in for a few minutes and pull the meat off the bones. If you tried it, how'd it work????

I didn't want to fillet them. Just gut, cut head and tail off and toss em in!

OK, didn't deep fry the trout. Instead we filleted them and grilled them. I didn't take pics. After fishing Most of the day Saturday and Sunday in the cold, I didn't feel like messing with the fryer, I just wanted to eat, watch the hockey game and sleeeeeeeeeppppppppp!!!!! Maybe next time.
