Checking some sets this morning, and while walking up the creek i found a dead coon!!! Upon looking it is in a trap, one of mine, that was set on a bridge wall 50 yards up stream and attached to a concrete block. I knew the creek came up fast and i couldnt see the set yesterday, but good thing there was a coon in it or I may not have found it. The coon was caught by a front foot, the other one was missing and partially healed over. The set would not have drown the coon if the water didnt come up. His unlucky night!!!
