Went for a walk around lunch time and spotted 2 close to 300 yds away on a gas line right of way.Sneaked within less than 100 yds by usin trees, brush, and crawlin on my stomach.Had a yearling at about 70 yds and was ready till I seen a huge deer comin out of the brush. While I waited for Godzilla the yearling wandered off.The monster never gave me an opportunity cause I never had a clear shot and couldn,t tell if it had a legal rack or not.Once I got close their was about 5 deer but I was concentrating on the monster.I thought I was gonna get another chance as I grunted when they wandered off but to no avail. For evening I blew it on a nice anterless that I suspect was a shed buck. This season has been tough.

Got a doe in the last minutes of legal shooting. 25 yards from a impromptu stand. She ran 50 yards. Perfect heart lung shot.

It all came together!

Hunting in 12 inches of powdery snow - tough going. Harder to drag.

Only pic I have was by cell phone and... way bad (dark) pic.
