I belong to a club that is registered as a regulated shooting ground and took my daughter pheasant hunting this morning. Here's my dog's first point of the day.

Here's my daughter with the days harvest.

I wish I had a video of her reaction when I flushed and shot the first bird. She kept jumping and yelling, "you got it daddy, good job." After I shot the second bird, she kept telling the dog what a good hunter she was.

On the way back to the truck, my dog went on point again so I snapped this picture.

The rooster was about a foot in front of the dog (they were holding really well today) and I allowed my daughter to walk up and flush it. I don't know who jumped higher, my daughter or the bird, but she laughed as we watched it fly away.

It's close. It's a 410 I picked up thinking she could use it when she got older but I fell in love with it and have been using it a lot lately.
