My dad made it every year and it was always a hit or miss affair. I don't have a recipe but I recalll that he put in oranges, and grapefruit and all manner of citric stuff along with the dandelions blossoms. We would go to Grand View Cemetary outside of Pitcarin and Edgewood Cemetary and pick thousands of dandelions. I think he had as many successes as failures. Apparently if one piece of fruit was bad it ruined the whole batch. One year it was so strong my Uncle Ray wouldnot even drink it. Other times, it was pretty good.
