I've got an opportunity to pick up a NIB .50cal CVA Kodiak with a nickel barrel and a black stock for $125. This would be a starter muzzlelader for my son. I've only owned TC's so I know this isn't a TC. But what do you guys think? I've got all the other misc. stuff so I don't need anything else. Anyone have any experience with this gun? Thanks
I did purchase the Kodiak. I found out the rear sight was damaged, that's why the gun was so cheap. I'm going to put a scope on it anyway so that was a good deal for my son. Thanks for the input.
PSE i have the same exact thing it is a good starter im going throught the same steps my self. also if i remember correctly they have a lifetime garentee on them so think you could get a new rear sight from them if you really want.
