Well guys it took me longer but here it is.
CVA Hunterbolt .50cal This rifle was given to me by another gentleman who didnt like it and moved on to another rifle. I always have great luck with CVA so i gladly accepted it and went to work on it as soon as i scrubbed it clean the day i got it.
When i got it, it had horrible plastic sights on it. I had a spare set of the Durasight metal sights and slapped them on, sighted it dead on @ 50 yards and then scoped it, sighted it 1 1/2" high @ 50 yards and took it out to 100 yards later in the day.
90gr Blackhorn209 * Yes it has a modded breech plug now* 295gr Aerotip Powerbelts, CCI 209M primers.
Shots 1 and 2 were adjustments, i fired 3 and 4 for group and,
Continued to fire 4 more shots,
Switching to the 245gr Aerotip Powerbelts with 90gr BH209, CCI Standard 209 primers. 5 Shot group @ 100 yards.
And yesterday i went out again after a hail/rain storm and the temp had really dropped! 90gr bh209, 245gr Powerbelt Aerotip, standard CCI primers. Love the cold for accurate shooting! Dont have to worry about barrel heat up at all.
3 shots, 100 yards.
If you think about grabbing the rifle and running off, you obviously were blind to the guard watching over the rifle
