Congrats to the Cubbies winning the World Series for the first time in 108 years. Wow! That's a long time.

I thought Manager, Joe Maddon, was gonna micro manage the Cubs to a loss but the team prevailed in spite of his dubious managerial moves.

BTW, Maddon is a native of Hazelton, PA.

He tried to give it away twice, H e should never pulled tthat pitcher just because he walked a batter, he wasn't wild just missed a couple close calls. It was close to 1 am when I went to bed , then couldn't get to sleep...

Yep and he had that batter struck out. The ump missed the call. The pitch was clearly a strike and he called it a ball. Then the batter walked on the next pitch.

They can call balls and strikes electronically. Maybe that's the direction MLB should go. Eliminate the home plate ump giving favorable calls to veteran pitchers and hitters.

Balls and Strikes

First off, congrats to the Cubs. The calls behind the plate (balls and strikes) were awful....disgusting and during the world series with millions watching. The ump behind the plate needs to retire he was that bad. OK, rant over.
