I think I might have screwed up I went to Canada bear hunting with my crossbow in may and got a bear I guess when I went to look for it the bear I reloaded the crossbow well to make a long story short I just opened the case and found out I never shot my crossbow off and it has been cocked since early june anyone have any ideas on how I can tell if I might have hurt the limbs

You can check for splinters by taking a cotton ball and rubbing the limbs. It probably will be fine. What type of crossbow?

I suspect your limbs are fine if the bow wasn't stored in an extremely hot place. String may have stretched some depending on how new it is.
