Cause of why CB scopes U/D Recticle turn all the way up and still can't move the bolt to hit zero. Was told by a bow shop that when this happens one of the screws on the scope and or mounts is not in line...So what is everyone feelings on this? In other words you can't turn the U recticle up any more on the scope and i'm still not on zero at 25 yards..

I zero'd them before with no problem However I did return two Wicked Ridge CB to the company for warranty work.. I got to thinking they must have removed the scopes to do the work. But the scopes aren't working right now.. So the scopes worked before but now I have a problem zeroing them in at 25 yards ..

I purchased two rebel cross bows and one of the scopes did the same thing for me.. The one zero'd fine the other turned all the way from L to R and could turn no more but the Zero could not be made to bring it right on into the middle of the bulls eye.. At least at the time I knew where the bolt would hit..

Sadly I have learned this too...When your installing scopes it better that you put them on the firearms and CB. I once purchased a used model 336 35 Rem from a large local gun shop..The sales associates in gun change the spur from the right side to the left side to accomadate me.. The gun wouldn't fire because of how he installed it. Such was the case for the two Rebel CB. Bow store employee put them to together for me. When I called he was the one that told me if they don't zero that the screw is not in line on the scope or mounts... I always mount my own scopes on all my firearms.. As you can see i'm a bit frustrated. It actually makes you think? Why did I ever pursue CB hunting in the first place ... LOL

Put a quitter I'm Not!!

I already removed the scope and put it back on myself for the one Rebel CB that wouldn't zero.. Probably have to do for the two Wicked Ridges now..

Many of the scopes you get with a crossbow are junk, except maybe for the Excalibur...I helped a buddy sight his in on Sunday and we turned the windage adjustment forever until the point of impact finally moved.....Cheap scopes.....It is worth investing in a good scope instead of using the "package deal" junk scope that most give you in order to hold costs down.
