Our yard is full of crickets in the summer time. I have some blue gills in our koi pond and was wondering if anyone knows of a trap or lure to trap the crickets. I hear that the blue gills love them to eat.

Just a thought, try using a minnow type netting and throw over an area and try picking some up by hand and put them in some type of container with a lid so they don't get back out. Then when you get what you can drill holes in the lid and grass in for the crickets to eat. Hope this helps.

I have used a dip net between fish to catch the next one. Haven't notice them here, but in other states I have seen cricket bait containers which are cylinder shape tapered at one end with a small hole and cork stopper which works well for carrying and dispensing them one at a time.....
