Went crappie fishing for first using jobs & zilch. Been reading about using events & wondering if anyone has any recipes they want to share

I never used scents. I have used the Berkley Crappie Bites. We did catch fish on them but it was nothing spectacular. Jigs and minnows are better. Minnows / small shinners being the best bait.

The key is finding them and then putting a lure in front of them. I usually fish from a boat so that gives me the opportunity to try different places until I find them.
