Are there any Lakes East of the Susky from say Wilmsport down to York to the Jersey boarder that have a decent Crappie population?

Unlimited horsepower?

Well it isn't east of the susky but Raystown has a decent population of Crappie . I spend the month of Oct. there every year fishing, hunting and camping.

Oct. is a good time for crappie , last year they were hanging out in the weed beds in about 11-12 ft of water. My prefered bait is fathead minnows. You will also pick up some very nice Yellow Perch while crappie fishing.

The lake is located in Huntingdon Co. and is 30 plus miles in length and unlimited horsepower. Its a very clear and deep lake, that also holds Stripers , Musky, Walleye , Bass large and smallmouth, and others, like catfish carp, etc.

I usually fish for striper from day break till about 9:30 Am then switch to crappie and perch tactics. Night fishing is also good for striper and crappie.

If you decide to try this lake I will be camped at the seven points recreation area in Point camp, not sure of the site yet. If you are interested PM me and I will give you contact Info. I would be glad to tell you every thing I know and how and where I fish. I expect to be the entire month of Oct. unless they change the camping rules.

I only fished. Blue Marsh once did not do well and all the reports I hear is much of the same.

Although Nockamixon / Green Lane are very close I can't run my 115 hp so I call Beltsville Lake my home lake bout 1 hour drive.
Fished Beltsville hard this summer inbetween offshore fishing (such a great break from the salt)

Lg.M Bass, Pickerel had Stripers busting ontop one evening BUT No Crappie.

I even snorkel the lake OOHh the sights I saw got most on the GoPro Awesome BUT no Crappie and few Walleye (very small) The 2 Fish I'm mostly interested in

Crappie Hunter,
That's is an awesome gesture.

Small world my Cabin is in Martins Gap about 15 miles North on Rt 26 from Huntington or about 25 miles North of Raystown.

In 15 years I have never Fished Raystown. Trout fished Standing Stone, Fished Whipple Dam / Greenwood.
Hunted Pheasants many times at Raystown at the boat ramp

That's a shame Blue Marsh used to be loaded with them. Next time I get over I'll have to overthrow the capt. and try some of the old spots

Ice, I was there on a very busy Mid Summer Saturday with the Family. Fishing was a side bar to tubing hanging on the beach grilling.
I can't really give a true report on the fishing.
Like I said above I have yet to read a consistent good report on BM 98.9% of what I researched have less than favorable reviews

The biggest striper my buddy and I ever caught was in that Aitch Bay probably where you were pheasant hunting. If you launch at Aitch where you were hunting and just go straight across that bay and fish the weed beds along the far bank you should find some crappie. We were in there fishing crappie when the striper's ran a school of bait in there and started to bust them on top all around the boat.

Thats the place. They stock those fields all around that area.

Every Pheasant season opener 25/30 Boats are splashing at 6am is there some tournament that happens that time of year?

I don't fish tournaments but yes they have bass and striper tournaments from time to time on the lake. Not sure when they are but you know it if you are on the lake when they are going on.

I believe those fields are part of a state game lands and the Pa. Game commission stocks those birds. I have been fishing that bay when the season opens and it sounds like a war zone.
