I have a 1.5 year old Moultrie M-888 that suddenly stopped working. I changed the batteries, but still nothing. Then I noticed some blue crusty corrosion on the battery pack around the terminals on one side. Does anyone have a solution for this? Will auto battery terminal cleaner work (safe?)? Would Moultrie make it right?

Nanook, a friend of mine was having issues with his camera and noticed the same thing, he cleaned the corrosion off and it worked fine after that. I believe it was a moultrie as well, I'm just not sure how he cleaned it. if I talk to him I'll post up how he did it

Vinegar or lemon juice and baking soda will clean it up.
