Never had them before. Found a big patch and would like to see what all the fuss is about. After I pick some do I just use the root? Or the tops too? What simple recipes do you guys have to share that would go good with a family dinner?
Thanks

My wife uses them in all sorts of dishes.
I would say to just use them in any way you would an onion or garlic .
She uses the entire plant .
Lots of folks make dips, and potato leek soup.

I like to dehydrate them and grind them into a powder. Makes for a great seasoning. Really good on ribs, venison and fried eggs.

Just google or yahoo wild ramp recipes and you will find a ton of good stuff to make with them. Snip the roots off and use the bulb and stem and leaf part. Just be ready for people to keep their distance!
