My dad has hunted hard all year long and it finally paid off this morning. He shot this decent 8 point at 40 yards with his custom made muzzleloader. He saw 4 buck together as far as he could see so to try and get them closer he got out his doe bleat and grunt tube. This fellow was interested and came right up to him and stopped broadside at 40 yards and the rest was history! My family was so pumped up and happy for him to shoot a decent buck this late in the season! It has been a long tough season for us as a group but it goes to show you that persistance pays off sometimes. Way to go Dad!

(This buck was shot in 5c.)
