I'm very confused at why my buddies and me have pretty good success at calling fox in when there is no snow on the ground but when we get snow it's like we misewell not even go out cause we can't call anything in ?????

I was out Sunday morning from 4 am til daylight...called in nothing, but did, however notice how crunchy the snow was when walking to my calling spot....noise is why I think snow calling is less productive.......
