My wife and Colton went out last night on a ridge with several oak trees. A little before 6 oclock they saw a deer coming in from behind them. Once he got into range Colton stopped him at 23 yards and let the arrow fly. We tracked it last night for about 300 yards, but since it hadn't bedded and we hadn't jumped we decided to back out until morning. We found it about 100 yards from where we stopped last night. The shot entry was perfect but with the downward angle it came out kinda low and must be why he made it so far. The rack was a beautiful chocolate color with the tips being light color.
