Weeds have invaded my clover plot and may be limiting my clover growth. Should I mow, fertilize, or other suggestions?

Mowing clover should be part of your plot process, as long as the weather is not hot and dry. This will help you battle the broadleaf weeds.

Grasses are a little tougher. Cspot has had good success with the Imox herbicide for his clover plots. I would not fertilize until you get the weeds under control, otherwise you are just helping the weeds.

A mix of clovers, grasses, and forbs may be more practical than trying to achieve a "pure" plot of clover.

Some areas are maintained with that sort of vegetation mix for many years, with no maintenance other than mowing once a year.
