after im done with grinding meat i wash all the bits of meat from all the parts. after that i send it through the dishwasher but it comes out, like oxydized or something, so after that i usually coat it with vegatable oil. but then the oil get this paiste like very difficult to clean off. anybody else have this problem? anybody else have a solution? or any better ideas?

after the bread i run a couple of handfulls of ice cubes threw it to clean out any bread that may be in it before taking it apart to wash it

The bread trick works well. After cleaning I spray mine with the cooking oil in a spray can. Seem to be light enough to not gum up, but heavy enough to keep if from oxidizing.

Hand wash in hot soapy water and rinse and dry then I use food grade silicone spray from L.E.M.'s.

I do the same, as well as running bread through after grinding.
