In typical Chesapeake fashion it seems the gas company is pulling money from royalty payments to pay for "post production costs". This is a slap in the face to anyone who has leased to this shady company.... Since the CEO has basically buried the company in debt from his buying and spending spree (both with the company and personal), they are taking money that is meant as royalty payments. THINK twice before signing with this outfit and watch it doesn't spread to the others. There are current loopholes that allow them to do this unless it is stated in your lease. Contact you Legiscritter and the govenor (you know they guy who handed the keys to the state to the gas companies) and demand this practice stop..............Good old PA, sold to the highest bidder!!!!!

Things will get better when Tommy Corbett takes over as COO or General Council.

The fact that Chesapeake is sticking landowners with the cost of post production and our assembly of morons and senate of bigger morons sit by and do nothing to close the loopholes is a slap in the face to PA tax payers and gas leasers........ The CEO of that shipwreck of a company has sold off many of the gas plays they had to pay off the debt he created, now they are dipping into the pockets of landowners. If that doesn't frost your pumpkin, then nothing will. But hey when all the illegals are running around your towns, making minimum wage, while your neighbors are left unemployed and all the gas (yeah, energy independence gas....lol) is shipped to China, Europe and elsewhere just slice me a big cut of opinion.....most people won't be able to afford much else. Oh......and the clean up bill, that will be put on the backs of the tax payer...(ie- see coal baron playbook)......
