Can chaga be harvested all year round. I read something that said it should only be picked up until the tree stops producing sap. Reason was that it only had the nutrients during that time. I hadn’t heard that before.

You can harvest any time. Only harvest from a live birch and leave some on the tree. It will grow again fairly quickly.

It should really be harvested from November until the end of winter... It
s more potent then... Only take from live birch trees.. If the tree is dead the Chaga no good...

By the way in the off season you can get it on Amazon too...
