Hey Tater.I just graduated from Professional Drivers Academy in Milton in December. They have a pretty informative website. They did a good job prepping us for all of our knowledge tests at the DMV.They also do alot of lot training to help you get the feel of the trucks.Alot of backing and turning not just driving in circles. They know exactly what the testers at the DMV want you to do and show you over and over how to do it.REPITITION!!!We also drove on the road over 1100 miles with the trainers.Buck is the main driver trainer and drove OTR for 30 years.Bill is the main lot trainer and was driving since 1964(I think).Brick is the owner and does all the classroom training. They also have alot of contacts and alot of industry knowledge.PM me if you have any specific questions about PDA.Can't really comment on any other schools.

I agree I would only get a Class B if I were him. Class A for the most part doesn`t paid anymore than a Class B does(if local driving). For me, as you know dude, I am glad I am done driving any of them after 23 1/2 years and that includes A/B and Bus Driver. Way too many headaches for what you get paid $$$$.

Tater, there is a truck driving school just past the Butler Farms show grounds, rt 68, on the left hand side going toward Evans City. I don't know the name of it or anything about it other than location.

Class A Pays MORE then Class B even if Driving Local!

If anyone is going to go for a CDL and pay for it, they are Stupid if they only go for a Class B!

Class A opens MANY More Doors then Class B does to get a Job!

Class A also Gets More Pay then Class B!

On Average, Class A is anywhere between $17-$22.00 Local an Hour, Class B is Anywhere between $11.00-$15.00!
Some places might pay more then that, but Starting out Fresh, it isn't going to happen unless you know someone who owns a company!

I Drove, Supervised and Taught at a Driving School.
Class A is the Better of the 2 and Opens WAY MORE Doors then a Class B!
