Here is a new bow by Carbon Express. The Intercept. For those that like the tactical look this bow has got it all. Most noticable the full length picatinny rail over the barrel. This allows the user to use tactical iron sights, flip sights, scout scopes, red dots, conventional scopes or whatever suits your fancy. The detachable and collapsable stock attaches by way of another picatinny rail under the cheek piece. Options are almost endless.

That is definately odd looking with the rail being that long. You could have all kind of accessories attached with that.

It's crazy the direction some of these bows have taken. Dual arrow retention springs? It could be considered a Pistol, or what would you call it with the stock removed? I'm not even sure of the correct terminology. Interesting design though.

Why would you want more arrow retention? That thing doesn't even look like it would function properly.

One cause of limb failures is arrows moving away from the string when the bow is cocked for a long period of time and hunted with. Another retention spring would towards the front of the shaft would provide another point of contact and less of a chance of the arrow moving. This design allows for that.

Super short when the stock is collapsed as well.

I don't understand the point if an arrow is there or not. Isn't the trigger bar preventing any and all movement of the string anyway?

Yes, but the arrow can still slide forward away from the string. A double retention spring may help to alleviate this from happening.
