My buddy just got a new inline and he wants to sight it in before the expense of power belts. I have only hornady pa conicals as I just shot flints and percussions. Can we use these bullets to practice with?
Sure can but different types may not be close together depending on your charge and distance. Lead conicals are what I shoot in my inlines but generally heavier stuff, 400gr to 460gr. You can also shoot patched round balls. For a faster twist inline, you'll need to reduce the charge for a round ball. I think my one 50 cal Whites shot round balls good at 50gr and then groups opened up at 60gr.
