What is a good way to replace the calcium in the soil. I have heard oyster shells, What about clam shells? Also what are some other good ways besides manure to replace the vital minerals naturally that you use?????
I read a gardening book this year that for quick introduction of calcium to your garden to use powdered dry milk. I am using it on my tomato this year and seems to be working very good. It stops the blossom end rot and I don't see any of that this year. Also most books recommend using Epsom Salts for the magnesium. I have the best looking plants this year than I have ever had and all are producing very well.
