Thought you guys might like this. I spotted this cackling goose in a flock of Canadas in Bucks county on Friday. This was the first one I've ever seen. At least that I know of.

Nice pic! My brother and I both shot cacklers this year. Mine is going on the wall.

Just wondering????? Aren't they actually a Richardson goose on the Atlantic flyway ???? And their own sub species . Still pretty cool though next to a full size canada

Yes, we do have Richardson geese, but they look just like the one in the pic, but will have a white ring around the base of the neck where the black ends. Not sure if there is cacklers and Richardsons or what, but here is a Richardsons from NY last season, not a great pic, but you can see the white.
