Check: http://www.trailcampro.com and also http://www.amazon.com for reviews. In amazon make sure to look for the 119327c. Both locations the camera comes up as "Bushnell X-8". Amazon shows: 1)can not use rechargeable batteries, 2)video length limited to 15 seconds, and 3)poor day time pictures, but good night ones. Both websites show reviews. My preferences would be to have longer video setting and the ability to use rechargeable batteries and good daytime pictures. This camera may require full voltage batteries when they are first installed. This may be why Bushnell says not to use rechargeables. By "full voltage" I refer to 1.5 volt. I am using Energizer rechargeables in my other cameras, but a full recharge after being off the charger for about half an hour, they stabilize out at 1.37 to 1.39 volt. Energizer rechargeables are classed as a slow drain battery.
