Remember that 1957 Plymouth Belvedere that was buried brand new in 1957 in the midwest that was reopened a couple years ago?It was totaly trashed and wasted.

There were several methods used during the cold war years. I personally know a guy whose Dad used 8" pvc, cosmolined the entire gun, and silicone sealed the caps. They came out of his hole in perfect shape. If you do not have a perfect seal, the moisture will infiltrate and destroy the contents.
