Been looking at the Burris offer where if you buy A fullfield 3x9x40 you receive a free .22 scope. I need a scope for a 30-30 and could use a decent.22 scope. Any pros or cons on these?? Thanks...
I shudder to think what things are like with their foreign-made stuff....I've had more issues over the years with US-made Burris scopes than with all the other brands I own, combined....
When the American buyer starts boycotting the cheap, overseas junk maybe the companies peddling these goods will get the message....with Wal-Mart being at the top of the list.....
I bought the combo with the binoculars 2 years ago. The scope is made in the Phillipines as mentioned above. The quality of the scope is good and clarity would rival my leupolds. But I were in your shoes I would look into the new Redfield 2-7. Better price, better warranty, Made in USA
I prefer to buy American, but I don't equate overseas with poor quality. Poor design and poor materials IMO which are chosen by the manufacturer are just, if not more responsible for crappy products. Look at the auto industry.
