I looked at the PGC website and was surprised to see that four bear were taken in upper Bucks County. I'm not surprised there are bear there but 4 killed is a big number for that area.

I was surprised as well. My parents have a place with acreage there. Bear tracks are becoming more and more common on their place, but they have yet to see one. A lot of these bears are young males moving in, though the article on the morning call website says one of the bears was a sow that weighed 367. That's a stout sow.

That is the result of the bears swimming over from Jersey side of the river.
The attached counties had 0 kills so far.
Liberal bears?

BTW I noticed that to. I saw a few in Lehigh County near GL 205 and Wanamaker but both are close to Chestnut Ridge and they have been up there for years.
