Anyone have any experience with the Browning Abolt3 ??

I found a pretty good deal on one in .30-06. Its one of those thing, I dont need it...but you know.


Just curious of any pros or cons.

I have one and like it.

I also have an original A bolt and they are similar. I would have to say the older is a more finished gun and is a little smoother.

They are both very accurate, which is what counts. I love the position of the safety and the magazine.

I would not hesitate to recommend it. I feel they are bargains at the prices I see them going for these days.

You can buy a new one for $480.There is a rebate right now until 12-14-14 of a $100.So a new one is $380.Not bad but I don't know your used price.Never shot one though just tossing out some numbers.Might help you adjust the price a little.

What's this the Browning's final swing from Abolt to Xbolt. Would scare away a lot of shooters. Change does that.
Good accurate rifles from Browning. Bought one Abolt years ago. Had a female newbie shooting at a range. First two shots were a figure 8.

Good rifle. Not meant for everyone.
