You can take the 1/2 of the course online but you have to show up somewhere to do the test and other 1/2 of the course in person somewhere. When I took mine, I had to go down near Monroeville (Near Pittsburgh) to take mine and my uncle had to go down to Martinsburgh, PA which is below Altoona to take his. We live where Indiana, Cambria and Clearfield counties meet for a reference on how far we traveled. They are not as promenient as Hunter-Trapper Education courses, your gonna have to travel for one.
Im Checking the schedule now and this is what I came up with;
On Saturday, May 18th there is one in Mifflinburgh, PA (Which is south of Williamsport and East of Lock Haven) about an hour or so drive out Interstate 80 from the Dubois area.) 28 of 30 have been filled so you better hurry if you want that one.
Here's the link so you can check it out. Not very many being held this year and you're gonna have to travel to either Martinsburgh or Mifflinburgh to get one "close" to Dubois.
