Bowfishing saftey zones?

Are the any saftey zones with bowfishing? like distance from roads ect?

Interesting though. You are launching a projectile, no different than shooting a bow with an aluminum or carbon hunting arrow.
And you certainly aren't angling.
It is a bunch of fun though. I've shot hundreds of carp and catfish into the wee hours.
