Been out a few times in some local streams here around Pittsburgh. I have seen some spawning action over the past week. Went out this afternoon for a few hours and managed 4 nice ones in about an hour. Should be some great shooting going on right now.

What do you guys do with your carp? I buried quite a few in the garden for fertilizer just wondering what a lot of you do with them.

When I used to shoot a lot of carp, we gave them to Amish/Mennonite farmers. Some ate them, some used them for fertilizer. It usually helped with getting/keeping permission to hunt there in the coming year.

Since we don't hunt those areas anymore, and since I have nowhere to go with the fish, I don't shoot them anymore, but I miss it!

@5Chunter Just my opinion but smoked carp tastes awesome, if you haven't tried it you should.
Very very slow smoke is the key.
