has anyone ever tried Border Crossings VS1? Thinking of useing it this year, just wondering if its worth the price.
Nope!!!! they show it working on their pened up deer farm in Mich. but you'll be better off buying a local grade deer scent for half the price.. (westwindwhitetails.com) for example..

I used it a few years back. It worked, but I wouldn't say it worked ten times better than anything else I have tried. Better than some for sure, but not heads above the rest, for what it costs.

Used both before. VS1 is not worth the money. Herd in a stick worked well. Had deer come right in following the track. One problem with herd in a stick it leaves a white streak on trees that last all season. You can be marking your stand for everybody.

I've used the herd in a stick as well and it seems to work pretty good. Plus a stick of that stuff lasts almost 2 seasons for me. A little bit on the bottom of the boots as I walk in seems to do the trick.
