I have some danners that I used for the military, but they rubbed my feet weird, or maybe my feet rubbed them weird, who knows...

USA made Danners, good to go.

+1 for the Pronghorns. Made is China? I guess all companies are farming out their operations for cheaper labor. When will it end?

When we stop buying them.

I like my Danner pronghorn's, own 3 pair, a non insulated, 400 gram and a 1000 gram, they're lite and keep my feet warm and dry, which at my age is the bottom line. I know there made in China, but it's getting hard to find many things today that's not made in a foreign country, especially clothing. I can remember a time when anything that was foreign made was considered junk, not anymore. Heck even if it's made the the good old USA chances are the company is owned by a foreign organization.

I like Danners but I cant get them in my size. I have Cabela's outfitters series. They are pretty good.

Just gave my (made in the US) Irish Setters a good try in the rain. They kept my feet warm and dry.

Worst pair of boots I ever owned were an un-insulated pair of Danners that were made in the USA.

Hurt my feet and spaghetti strainer would have been more waterproof.

Browning light weights are very comfortable boots, however you get wet feet in a heavy dew.

I owned one pair of Browning boots about 15 years ago. They felt good on but they leaked and my feet were always wet. They lasted less then a season before they hit the dumpster.

I just sent some very expensive Irish Setter boots... seems that they are no longer waterproof.
