Went to the freezer to get some Red deer steaks for grilling, but am out of them. But while digging through what was in there, I found a pack of backstraps! Thought I was out of them, BONUS!!


Thawed, sliced into medallions, rubbed with garlic, pepper and olive oil, then grilled! Delicious!

I've shot, and eaten, many Rehs, buck and doe. They're pretty comparable in taste to Whitetail. The Red deer though, are mouth watering delicious!!


Just to clarify, Whitetail and Reh are great too!
