I finally took the leap and bought a crossbow over the weekend, being the my elbow isn't fully recovered. Now the question I have is can I wrap a bolt like I do my arrows for the compund bow?

If you mean cresting them? I don't see why not. The only thing you'll likely find is that and crest wrap you put on won't last very long due to friction against the rail trough.

I used to wrap my crossbow arrows but no longer. They get beat up from the rail and had problems with the wraps tearing under the vanes when the vanes hit anything.

You can and they look great, but they don't hold up well when shooting a lot.

I'm going to be doing some testing with hydro-dipped arrows but likely won't get to it until after the season ends. I think they will be much more durable than the vinyl wraps.
