if you are sticking with alum arrows, the 2117 size is a great fit for GT II componets....i have easton 2117 XX75 camo hunters with 110gr brass inserts that weigh 550gr for the GT II arrows with FOC of 21.4% that fly dead on with slick trick 125's to POA out to 50 yards..........bob

121 fp of KE??? how heavy are your arrows, i'm shooting a 550 gr arrow with only 103 fp of KE from my exocet 200 going down range at 290 fps....i have a few online KE calc with a 675 gr arrow going at 285 fps to get to 121 fp of KE....not possible to get that heavy of an arrow going at that speed that i know of....please post up your arrow spec's and crossbow

I didn't understand the post correctly. I thought you were looking for compound arrow shafts that were the same diameter as a crossbow shaft. There are no carbon shafts made for compounds that I know of that match a crossbow arrow's diameter.

Most of the ones I can think of are either too fat or too thin. I can't honestly come up with one that is similar in size.
I did consider some testing along these lines and gave up on the idea. I don't think the spine will be right and the weight is too far off. Although you may get away with it in the Excalibur due to the 350 grain minimum weight on thier bows.
If you keep looking, you may come up with something. Be careful, as it might be dangerous. I really have no clue how a compound arrow might react in a crossbow. I know I would be using a 20 ft. sting to release the trigger on the first few, just to be safe.
Don't ask why I know about the 20ft. string.....

i didnt realize the bolt was all togather different than the vertical bow arrow when it came to carbon....i was thinking it was just a vertical bow arrow cut down.....thanks arrowhead for clearing that up and saving me injury.....
