i've been trying to get close to bobolinks for the last few years. today i found these at millers pond near pymy spillway.

i'm not a big fan of brown headed cowbirds, but i got a decent shot(imo) of them today

I know lots of folks dislike cowbirds due to their nesting habits, but if you look at the males, they are beautiful. Actually, English Starlings are the same way.
