This is the third summer for these red oaks. They were 6" saplings when planted. This past spring the the grow tube was placed, first year this one was tubed. This is my "control" area to test the tubes. I've used two other types of tubes in the past and these by far show the most growth.

I have some here that have been out two years. I am a little concerned about durability, but so far I have had very few problems and they are still doing their job. Getting a good post/stake solution seems to be the biggest challenge.

Bears seem it like to chew on the blue ones a lot more than the white ones that I have out. I will agree though that seedlings, (Apples and oaks) seem to do better in the Blue one.
