I went out today with anchor & daisy .they jumped about 6 rabbits...3 of them ran for over an hr. ..and in huge circles. The last rabbit circled a few times and then headed out of hearing ..1/4 mile away....had to get out the tracker to find the dogs

I ended up shooting one and missed another . At times they sounded like they were sight chasing ..heads up running

It seems to be the buck rabbits that run the big runs this time of the year.

Good job. I took notice to the single shot New England Firearms/Pardner shotgun, same one I use for rabbit hunting.

I really like the single shot ..it's light and you can carry it all day. I always seem to miss close rabbits though

...I hit the rabbit running fast...No time to think ..just swing thru & shoot...or maybe luck. I let 2 of the rabbits go as they were running away.. don't want to blow up the the hind quarters.

The rabbits were out & about today.
