Do any of you all know the ins and outs of this law.My 14 year old son argues with me that it ain,t a law and he says he,s seen kids ridin bikes without helmets and the cops watched em w/out sayin a word.I say by law he has to have a helmet on any public road or park.

I am no laywer but my common sense tells me that a state that has done away with mandatory helmets for motorcycle riding would not have a law mandating helmets for bicycles. Oh, wait, this is Pennsylvania so logic would not be a logical approach.

I remember when it passed cause it was the same time that Pa. did away with it,s motorcycle helmet law.Plus I remember adults havin to go out and buy helmets.You never see adults w/out helmets on their bikes since the law was passed.

I can remember thinkin how crazy is this?They repeal the m/cycle helmet law then put one on for bikes.
